EEHF, the official Medical Team for the Andoni LGA Unity Festival, is proud to share the incredible achievements of our recent medical outreach program.
In collaboration with the Andoni LGA, led by the esteemed Chairman, Chief. Hon. Erastus C. Awortu PhD., DSSRS,
we delivered free medical services to over 800 people** during the festival, held from December 30th, 2023, to January 4th, 2024.
This initiative not only benefited local residents but also extended a helping hand to tourists who joined the festivities.

The outreach program offered a comprehensive range of services, including:

• Free distribution of malaria-treated nets:
  A crucial step in preventing the spread of malaria in our communities.
• Essential medications:
  Ensuring access to vital medication for those in need.
• Crucial health screenings:
  We conducted tests for HIV, Hepatitis B & C, Syphilis, as well as Blood Pressure and Blood Sugar checks, empowering individuals to take charge of their health.

Alongside these services, we also advocated for proper health-seeking behavior.
Our team provided valuable information and guidance, encouraging residents to prioritize their well-being and seek medical attention whenever necessary.
Leading by example, Chairman Awortu himself participated in the outreach program by allowing the EEHF Medical Team to conduct some basic health tests on him.
This powerful act serves as a strong message to the community, emphasizing the importance of regular checkups and prioritizing health.
